Mission Statement
The mission of the Children’s Ministry at FPC is to reach out to children with the message of Christ’s unconditional love by guiding them to grow into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to partner with parents in the spiritual education of their children.
- Love God – Introducing children to Jesus – EVANGELISM. We want all children to be able to experience Jesus’ love and discover the excitement, joy and peace that come from living a life with Jesus as their Savior and Lord. We want children to grow in their relationship with God in worship, through hearing His Word, singing in praise, and through prayer.
- Love Others – Building relationships that lead to friendships and help our children achieve their best.
- Serve People – Encouraging and nurturing in our children a heart to serve.
It is our goal to equip parents to fulfill their covenant commitment to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We offer classes on Sundays for children of all ages, including Sunday School and Children’s Church. In the Wednesdays at Cornerstone Village program the kids learn basic truths about God through Small Group, Catechism, Choir, studies and fun, age-appropriate activities. We also offer several seasonal camps and programs designed to engage children in worship, evangelization, ministry, discipleship, and fellowship.
