We are back from the Edge and my cup is full! It was a gift to see so visibly the fruit of what the Lord is doing in the hearts and lives of our students.

The Edge is a 5 day conference for middle schoolers held at Covenant College each summer with over 1,400 students participating from over 40 churches. This year we brought 23 students to the Edge and 10 of them embraced the gospel for the first time. Some of these students grew up in our church and others have come to call FPCY their place of community in just the past year. As leaders who have been praying for each of these students weekly for the past year, there is no greater joy than to see the Lord answering prayers and the Holy Spirit working in the hearts of students as they ask hard questions and explore faith in Christ. Watching them grow over this past year in small groups as they have been honestly wrestling with the gospel, I can confidently say that the Lord and saints who are in heaven are rejoicing that these 10 lost sheep have been found!

There are many other fruits (deeper community, broken down barriers, etc.) I could point to and we rejoice over those as well! Please join us in prayer as we continue to walk along side each of these students in the coming years.
