Mission Trip to Acapulco

July 10, 2019 - July 17, 2019

A mission trip to Acapulco, Mexico is set for July 10 – 17, 2019. This team will work with our ministry partners at Casa Hogar del Niño de Acapulco. Our summer trip to Acapulco is designed for FPC Youth to experience short term missions, often for the first time. This is one of the largest short term trips we offer, with up to 20 students and 5 adults. Chris Bennett and Winnie Winford are leading the trip.

Total Cost for those who want church to purchase plane ticket = $1700 ( including a $340 deposit + signed Mission Trip Covenant)
Total Cost for those who plan to purchase plane ticket themselves = $650 (including a $100 deposit)

Timeline
Dec 1 – Application & Covenant form Due
Dec 3-7 – Winnie & Chris do interviews
Dec 15 or sooner – Team members notified about deposit ($340 or $100)
Feb 1 – $1050 total due for plane ticket (minus the deposit of $340 – so $710 more)
June 15 – Remaining money due: $1700 total; $650 total for those who bought their own plane ticket

*Application deadline includes the FPC Short Term Missions Application, FPC Youth Mission Trip Covenant, and a deposit (of $340 or $100, depending on plane ticket preference). All of these items are required to hold a student’s spot to participate. (Find required forms listed under “Resources” below)
