First Presbyterian Church hosts an annual World Missions Conference each year. Missionaries from around the world come here to share what God is doing through their ministry. As our Church Family becomes better acquainted with our missionaries and the projects they are pursuing, church members are encouraged to be fervent intercessors for these brothers and sisters serving in cross-cultural missions, to sacrificially give financially to their support, and to personally participate.

Missionary Apparel

Missionaries who attend our annual conference or visit throughout the year are given the opportunity to visit our Missionary Apparel Closet. To date, we have served approximately 350 missionary families through the Apparel Closet. This ministry exists to assist with the needs of missionaries and their families. Clothing items are donated by our church members and others in the community year-round and especially before the conference begins. We are pleased to allow our visiting missionaries to select from a variety of styles and types of clothing. Specific apparel sizes and needs for this year’s Missions Conference will be listed below. If you would like to donate new or almost new clothing to the Apparel Closet, please bring your items (on hangers if possible) to the Administration Office. Business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays. Thank you!
