Our Youth Students are invited to participate in a number of special events held throughout the year. Take a look at the events below and consider making plans for your student to attend!
Events typically take place on an annual basis and are listed in order of occurrence in the calendar year. Visit our church calendar here for a complete list of upcoming Youth Events and details.
Ski Retreat – Jr. & Sr. High
The Ski Retreat takes place each year in February over Presidents Day weekend. This trip is open to both Jr. High and Sr. High students. This is always an amazing weekend where we have wonderful worship and teaching, as well as enjoy two days on the slopes! Click here to learn more about this year’s trip, including registration.
The EDGE – Jr. High Retreat
The EDGE is a junior high youth conference centered on the Gospel as well as counselor and student relationships, open to rising 7th – rising 9th graders. Each five day session of this summer conference is full of exciting activities, sports tournaments, church group times, worship, and gospel-centered teaching. All of the programming is done in an effort to stimulate and enhance the relationships between leaders and students that the Gospel might go forth in power out of those bonds. Learn more about the next EDGE Conference, and sign your student up, here.
RYM – Sr. High Retreat
FPC is committed to local and world missions. Summer trips are available each year for students who are interested in serving. For more information, check our missions page or contact the Missions Secretary.
Summer Bible Studies
Since Youth Group does not meet during the summer months, our Youth Ministry offers summer Bible Studies for Jr. and Sr. High Students. Jr. and Sr. guys and girls all meet separately. Click here to find out more about upcoming Summer Bible Studies including location and meeting time for each group.
Fall Retreat – Jr. & Sr. High
Jr. and Sr. High Youth will take a retreat to the mountains in the fall. This retreat is a great opportunity toward the start of the school year to welcome students back and form lasting friendships within the Youth Group, regardless of age or grade level. Some D-group leaders will also attend as chaperones to get to know the students. Learn more about this year’s Fall Retreat and sign up on our church calendar.
