First Presbyterian Church began the Missionary Apparel Closet in December 1996 with the desire to assist with the needs of missionaries and their families. The clothing is donated by our church members and others. Missionaries who attend our annual conference or visit throughout the year are given the opportunity to select from a variety of styles and types of clothing. To date, we have served approximately 350 missionary families through the Apparel Closet. Additionally, we have shared with other charitable organizations and ministries which provide for the needs of people in our local community. There is ever any cost to the recipients.

If you would like to donate “new” or “almost new” clothing to the Apparel Closet, please bring your items (on hangers if possible) to the Administration Office. Business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.
