About the Ministry
Starting this year we are excited to announce that FPC Macon is partnering with City Church Manchester (Part of the UK Partnership and City to City Network) in their efforts to train pastors, plant churches and reach the whole of Northern England. As part of our partnership with City Church Manchester we plan to have a fruitful back and forth relationship where we aid and encourage each other in gospel ministry. We can certainly expect to see and hear from City Church Manchester often at future Missions Conferences. Additionally, we will coordinate mission teams to go to Manchester in order to serve and support the work of their Church and wide-spread ministry efforts.
Summer 2019 will hold our first mission trip Manchester, England. Our aim for this trip is to have a team of 10-12 adults that will travel to receive ministry training from City Church Pastors and to minister to that local body of believers in a wide variety of topics such as Women’s Issues, Parenting, Marriage, Faith and Vocation, Discipleship, Elder Training, Spiritual Disciplines, and more. Team participants are needed who: are comfortable sharing their story, teaching on an area of experience or expertise, or even willing to talk about how to reach people with the gospel in certain affinity groups such as law, education, business, medicine, or vocational ministry. The ministry opportunities are truly endless. However, the main focus of this trip will be two-fold: to allow City Church Manchester to pour into our hearts from their passion for evangelism and that we would minister back into their young church through the gifts and knowledge the Lord has mercifully bestowed upon us at FPC Macon.
